Explore the many worlds of Lyceum

concerts, comedy, drama, dance, exhibitions, and lectures, featuring nationally and internationally recognized speakers and performers as well as local talent. Initiated in 1958 by Performing Arts Chair John t. Venettozzi, the PSC Lyceum Series is the oldest continuous cultural arts program in the area.

PERFORMING ARTS

For more than 50 years the performances of PSC music and theater students have thrilled local audiences and opened doors for scores of PSC Performing arts graduates who have gone on to Broadway plays, Hollywood and television productions, and recording studios.

VISUAL ARTS

Step into the Gallery of the stunning Anna Lamar Switzer Center for Visual Arts and experience original exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops, gallery talks tours, and receptions – and all are FREE!
A major resource for the community, the Gallery features globally know artist such as National Geographic photographer Steve McCurry along with artists of regional and local distinction.

BOOK TALK SERIES

Top speakers, professors, and authors discuss a variety of books and topics at FREE monthly events in the spacious Edward M. Chadbourne Library. Writer Marian Wernicke begins the informal Book Talks in  September, and Northwest Florida Poet Laureate Jamey Jones wraps up the series in April.
